- Our Founders

Harmony in Every Hoofbeat

Lucky Star Farm is a sanctuary founded by sisters Amy Rippy and Jenna Jacques. Our journey began with an Irish Connemara pony named Sean, who taught us not just horsemanship, but humanity.

Sean’s enduring spirit and wisdom inspired the name and ethos of Lucky Star Farm — a place that aims to spread his legacy of kindness and excellence in equestrian care.

Today, Amy and Jenna run the farm alongside Jenna’s husband Ryan. Amy and Ryan bring the perspective of practicing veterinarians, while Jenna’s lifelong dedication to horses and the equestrian community is woven into every decision made at Lucky Star Farm.

Cultivating Friendship and Wellbeing Through Dressage.

What We Stand For

Our Values

Veterinary-Grade Care

With practicing veterinarians among the founding team, every health and management decision at Lucky Star is made with deep medical expertise and genuine compassion.

Ethical Dressage Training

We believe dressage should elevate both horse and rider — our training methods always prioritize the horse's wellbeing and correct biomechanics.

Equestrian Community

Lucky Star is more than a facility — it is a community of riders who share a passion for the art of equestrian excellence.
